Enterprise IT Architect
The Enterprise IT Architect will provide technical vision and strategic insight to grow the company using technological resources. Reporting to the GM, He will collaborate with other department leaders and serve as an advisor of technologies that may improve GBM overall services and business offering. Role
  • Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of and success in roles as a functional team member assisting clients in the consultation, design implementation and support of technical solutions and improving business processes, which includes the following
    • Understanding various application-based solutions in one or more specific modules, as well as the common Industry issues facing clients.
    • Participating in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities
  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities to design, build, test and deploy technical solutions across various applications, including assisting with technical efforts that involve the development, design, implementation and support of business processes.
  • Demonstrated proven thorough abilities and success in roles with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services business, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success. Identify technology trends that may support or impede the success of the business. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering the company’s services. During the bidding process and later during the delivery, participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly. Collaborate with the appropriate Line of Business and Teams to assess and recommend technologies to meet the requirement of the customers. Communicate the company’s technology strategy to management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders. Operational Management Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, new vendors and service partners to collaborate with. Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization. Share knowledge, mentor, and educate the organization’s management, staff and customers, with regard to the company’s technological vision, opportunities, and challenges. Ensure company technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements. Support the bid management process by provide review, guidance and technological assessment for the possible solutions Support the bid management process by provide support in building the overall solution design and architecture and co-ordinate with all teams to build the final response Support the delivery team by providing mentoring and guidance for technology section and problem solving Support Presales activities by providing presentation, demo, leading discussion with customer with regards to GBM solutions and services. Requirements
  • Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in related field.
  • 10+ years as serving in an Enterprise, Solutions or Infrastructure Architect capacity with extensive experience in designing distributed enterprise-level architectures for mission-critical systems.
  • Well versed with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF as well as cloud architecture practices (AWS, Azure).
  • Master’s degree is a Plus
  • IBM Technology Knowledge is a Plus
