Responsibilities

• As a SAN Administrator, support day-to-day Storage/Backup administration with all storage related duty such as break-fix, allocations, zoning, decommission, capacity forecasting, performance Analysis, software upgrades.
• Manage Cisco SAN switches, perform various tasks like creating VSAN, Zones, Zonesets using GUI and CLI
• Administer, Patch upgrade, Analyze and resolve diagnostic problems on Linux and Windows Operating Systems to support the Dev/QA and Production environment.
• Security hardening of ESXi/vSphere, Linux & Windows OS
• Manage VMware vSphere 6.5 environments
• Assisting On-premise data center operations
• Work with the vendor in delivery of service to agreed service levels
• Support a 24×7 staffing model with on-call shifts that include Weekends and Holidays

Skills & Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Engineer [RHEL8, Ansible 2.8]
• Storage Systems: EMC Unity
• Operating Systems: RedHat 7,8 Windows Server 2016
• Virtualization: VMware 6.5
• Server Hardware: Cisco UCS
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, T/PAT, VPN, VLANs

Qualifications & Experience

•   Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
•   5 +years of experience as a SAN Administrator
•   Contract Duration 1 year ( Extendable based on the performance)
•  The candidate must be available in Qatar with a transferable visa & ready to join immediately
