Z/OS Systems Programmer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understanding of System z architecture
• Responsible for evaluating, planning, installing, and maintaining the z/OS Operating system and related software products.
• Installation, customization, and support of; DFHSM, DFSMS, DFDSS, RMM
• Maintain reliability, availability, and performance of storage systems
• Provide the highest level of technical support, guidance, and direction for products supported
• Audit application backup policies and environments to ensure the integrity of backup and recovery activities
• Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes
• Manage and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring software

Education & Other Requirements

• Bachelor or higher in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in z/OS mainframe systems programming
• Candidate must be available in Qatar with transferable visa only who can join immediately.
