IT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary

To manage, install, and maintain overall information technology infrastructure at Manateq such as servers, operating systems, backup, storage, directory service, and other relevant systems, in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Support IT Director in development and implementation of IT infrastructure standards, procedures, guidelines, and processes.
• Plan and perform infrastructure improvements, enhancements, upgrades, and repairs under the guidance of the IT Director.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design, install, implement, and maintain current and future software, systems, infrastructure, and operations.
• Conduct technical evaluations, fine-tuning, and configuration of information technology infrastructure and high availability technologies and ensure their availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, to plan, design, and maintain security for the technology infrastructure including all server and storage environments.
• Design backup, maintenance, and disaster recovery plans and ensure proper and effective implementation of the servers and applications.
• Support in the development and implementation of operating systems.
• Evaluate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, to resolve any issues or incidents regarding information technology infrastructure or other relevant issues, and seek to eliminate recurring incidents and minimize the impact on employees.
• Establish and maintain a database with all documents and records related to information technology infrastructure configuration, mapping, issues, risks, service, etc., in collaboration with document control function.
•   Conduct systems installation with advanced configurations of storage, clustering, and security considerations.
• Integrate servers, including database, e-mail, print and backup servers, and their associated software into enterprise systems.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is required
• A certification in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution is preferred
• A minimum of 6-8 years of work experience, preferably in the required discipline.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure best practices
• Proficient in English, Arabic is preferred
• Contract Duration 6 Months ( Extendable )
