Cyber Security Presales Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

๐Ÿ”น Presales Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical and commercial inputs.
  • Build and deliver solution architecture documents aligned with customer environments.

๐Ÿ”น Solution Design & Technical Expertise

  • Design secure architectures for IT and OT environments, including network segmentation, endpoint protection, identity management, and threat detection.
  • Advise on compliance frameworks such as NIS2, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity products (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, PAM,IAM, DAM, EDR, SASE, ZTNA, etc.).
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies and technologies.

๐Ÿ”น Commercial Support

  • Work on product and pricing to develop competitive quotes and proposals.
  • Assist in building business cases and ROI models for cybersecurity investments.
  • Support contract negotiations by clarifying technical scope and deliverables.

๐Ÿ”น Customer Relationship & Enablement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide post-sales transition support to delivery teams.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 3โ€“7 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solution architecture, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains: network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, Data Security, Cloud security & OT security.
  • Familiarity with tools like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, F5, IBM, CrowdStrike etc.
  • Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or equivalent
  • Vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE etc)
