Job Summary
The Security Sales professional is responsible for driving sales of cybersecurity solutions, expanding client reach, and aligning with both internal and external stakeholders to maximize business opportunities. The role requires expertise in security technologies, strong relationship management, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for security solutions (e.g., network security, endpoint security, cloud security, SOC, SIEM, firewalls, Zero Trust).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on enterprise accounts.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Account Management & Expansion:
- Align closely with Account Managers in the assigned territory to drive more initiatives and expand customer reach.
- Work collaboratively with internal sales teams to penetrate key accounts and drive enterprise-level engagements.
- Conduct account planning, establish trusted advisor relationships, and perform regular business reviews with customers.
- Be the trusted advisor to clients understanding their business, risk appetite and guide them on a security strategy and direction.
Vendor & Partner Engagement:
- Align with security strategic vendors for account mapping and planning with the internal Sales Team.
- Drive new initiatives in collaboration with vendors to generate demand and enhance solution offerings.
- Work with distributors and partners to strengthen security solutions’ market positioning.
Solution Selling & Technical Engagement:
- Understand customer security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with pre-sales engineers to develop tailored proposals and conduct product demonstrations.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends.
Tender & RFP Management:
- Qualify security opportunities and contribute to bid responses.
- Lead or support the preparation of RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
Training & Industry Awareness:
- Continuously update knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and market trends.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions.
- Educate customers on the importance of security solutions.
- Update and deliver technical training to colleagues.
- Achieve Technical Certification as per plan.
Job & Education Requirements
- Experience: +5 Years in Cyber Security Sales or IT Security Sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications: (optional but beneficial): CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific (Cisco Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet NSE, etc.).

- Ability to engage with customer C-level executives.
- Ability to use assertive style to increase chances of negotiating successful outcomes with customers and reach suitable business agreements.
- Strong customer relationship and effective listening skills.
- Excellent marketing and Presentation skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing. Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, XDR, Zero Trust, etc.).
- Experience in vendor account mapping and planning with the sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
