The Managed Network & Security Services has got complex combination of different technologies like F5 technologies (Load Balancers, WAF, DDOS, Global Traffic Manager), Cisco Technologies (FTD, FMC, Switching), Palo Alto (Firewalls and Management/logging both Physical and Virtual), Fortinet Technologies (Firewall and Logging), Infoblox / Efficient IP (DNS/IPAM/DHCP installed at its Main Data Center, Branches, DR Sites, and Public Cloud respectively (Azure, Oracle, Google), Please refer to Sizing Guidance for Sizing details.

MANAGED NETWORK & SECURITY DEVICES

  • Ensuring that the network is steady and available 24x7x365.
  • Develop, document and maintain Procedures that meet the MOT requirements and policies.
  • On-Call services, including emergency response to urgent issues.
  • Weekly / monthly and ad-hoc reporting on current activities and issues, and project status reports.
  • Installation and re-installation of the Network & Security devices for the new requests and in the event of crash/failures.
  • Implementation and management of Switches, firewalls, IPS/NDR, DDoS protection, MFA and WAF
  • Simplify the management of the underlying heterogeneous environment.
  • Add, delete, modify configuration as requested by MOT or as per business needs.
  • Maintain records of configurations
  • Ensure all configuration changes are replicated between production and DR datacenters.
  • Manage and maintain Core switching and Top of the Rack switching.
  • Isolate, diagnose and resolve Routing related incidents.
  • Support firmware upgrade when required and recommended by the vendor.
  • Device inventory Management and License Tracking
  • IP address management and tracking.
  • Add, delete, modify access lists as pre-defined and requested
  • Periodic configuration review (Quarterly)& clean up (Housekeeping)
  • Periodic Back up using MOT provided backup tools or manually.
  • Co-ordination with support organizations for troubleshooting
  • Provide required regular and ad-Hoc Reporting
  • Maintain all required NAT from private to public Zone.
  • Creating Networking & Security Support Services procedures.
  • Communicate with Internet ISP and apply required connectivity requirement
  • Ensure complete documentation describing the Architecture, setup, enhancements, detailed Standard Operating Procedures for every activity identified.
  • Configuring and adding new virtual servers in load balancers based on project requirements, with SSL offloading if needed.
  • Monitoring and management of LAN/WAN, including high availability and redundancy.
  • Provisioning and management of VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other technologies.
  • Bandwidth utilization monitoring and performance optimization.
  • Maintaining and managing connectivity to published resources.
  • Vulnerability tracking and patch management.
  • Provide Assistance for other operation teams, customers & 3rd party during Replacement, upgrade or new implementation projects.
  • The bidder needs to provide cabling, cabling re-arrangement/alignment and labelling service on ad-hoc basis.
  • Configuration and monitoring of compliance controls (e.g., ISO 27001, NIA).
  • Training and knowledge transfer for in-house staff.
  • Scalability and flexibility for future business growth.
  • Regular performance and security reports.
  • Documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
  • Require detailed descriptions of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Configure and maintain Multiple CONTEXT for Firewalls
  • Configure and Maintain Multiple Sensors for IPS
  • Configure and Maintain Firewalling features
  • Configure and Maintain Application proxies Feature
  • Configure and Maintain Intrusion prevention systems / Network Detection Response Feature
  • Configure and Maintain DNS/DHCP Solutions
  • Maintain a continuous improvement program that improves Administration and Support service delivery
  • Web DLP Device Management
  • SIEM Device Management
  • EDR Devie Management
  • Provide required information and configuration to support 24/7 monitoring
  • Network and Security Devices Hardening as per best practice(CIS Bench Mark, NIA ,etc.)
  • Any new Network & Security Devices deployments will be taken care by Network team
