Summary

  • The Networking and Security Renewal Sales Specialist is responsible for the renewal of networking and security reoccurring revenue including maintenance contracts, Enterprise Agreements, subscriptions, licenses, including upselling and cross-selling of in-house and vendor additional services.

Responsibilities:

The Networking and Security Renewal Sales Specialist is responsible for the following: 

  • Act as the expert in GBM service offerings including solution support and lifecycle services.
  • Develop customer relationships to foster new business opportunities including install base expansion.
  • Coordinate and close customer renewals of maintenance, licenses, and subscriptions on time.
  • Respond to customer maintenance, licenses, subscriptions RFPs, and tenders.
  • Conduct account planning and analysis of customer accounts to identify upsell and cross-sell service opportunities with the Sales and Customer Success Management Teams.
  • Maximize revenue by; upselling additional services to the client that resolve challenges including those related to operational challenges; converting eligible subscriptions to enterprise agreements; converting annual support contracts to multi-year contracts.
  • Support GBM Sales Team to position support contracts and lifecycle services as part of customer project engagements.
  • Negotiate vendor and customer contract terms and conditions, including pricing.
  • Provide details of renewal forecasting.
  • Manage at-risk renewals in coordination with the Customer Success Manager and Account Manager; escalating these to the Regional Manager of Customer Success and the vendor as required.
  • Reduce customer churn and increase customer satisfaction
  • Achieve business targets for financial growth and profitability.

Experience and Education with the skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology with a related area.
  • Cisco Sales Expert.
  • At least three years’ experience with:
    • Reselling Cisco maintenance services such as Cisco Smart Net Total Care to end customers.
    • Cisco Status Tool and Cisco CSCC
    • Product knowledge with Symantec, F5, Fortinet, and Palo Alto. Other vendors are an advantage.
    • Candidate must be available locally / Overseas and ready to join immediately.
