Sr. Solution Architect/Technology Lead

Job Summary 

As a company, GBM is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect / Technology Lead to provide sound technical leadership in all areas of our business. This position requires a high degree of strategic thinking and business acumen. We expect you to have a thorough understanding of modern technology trends as well as a variety of business concepts. The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing the technology strategy for the organization, aligning it with the business goals and objectives.
• Provide a Technical Vision to the company, ensuring that the organization stays at the forefront of technological developments and adopts new technologies that can help drive growth.
• Promoting a culture of innovation and identifying new technologies that can improve the quality of service, increase efficiency, and to think creatively about solving business problems.
• Responsible for the architecture and design of the technology solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Technical leadership to the architecture team, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the organization’s technology strategy and goals.
• Fostering collaboration between the architecture team and other teams within GBM, ensuring that the architecture team is working closely with other stakeholders to deliver business value.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with technology partners, and other organizations that can contribute to the innovation efforts and get the best value from its Technology Investment.
• Leading and guiding the prototyping of new technologies and solutions, ensuring that they are feasible and can influence customers for new opportunities.
• Drive strategic initiatives by ensuring tight collaboration across departments, including understanding the alignment between technology strategy and various technology roadmaps.
• Responsible for selecting and implementing appropriate technologies to secure the systems and data, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
• Manage technology risks, conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate these risks.
• Develops technical roadmaps for future enterprise projects.
• Acting as a mentor to team members.
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.
• Review and approve solutions before proposal release to end customer.
• Helping digital solution line of business for building a pipeline

Required Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience in larger IT-established firms.
• Proven experience as a Sr. Architect  or similar leadership role
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
• Knowledge of cloud/Multi cloud technologies and standards
• Knowledge of different technologies e.g., IBM, Microsoft, and Google
• Ability to work with C-level.
• Supporting pre-Sales team in building solutions architectures and different building blocks
• Working with different teams e.g sales, pre-sales, and delivery to resolve conflicts.
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
