Linux & Storage Engineer

Job Description

Linux & Storage professional providing top-level customer support with outstanding SAN storage and Linux Management Skills.

Responsibilities

• Good experience in implementation, installation, and configuration of EMC & IBM storage systems like EMC unity & IBM V7000u, IBM Flash system.
• Administration of EMC & IBM storage systems, IBM TSM, EMC networker, EMC Data domain & Tale library.
• Ensured storage system and data availability and integrity through preventative maintenance and upgrades.
• Good knowledge to handle connectivity of storage with SAN switches & performed zoning.
• Good knowledge of different SAN & NAS topologies.
• Implement company policies technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of data, reports, and access.
• Manage FAST VP & FAST cache in EMC storage systems
• Red Hat/ Cento OS system administration.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• 12+ years of experience in Linux & Storage
• Certifications must: Red Hat / Linux & Storage Admin
• Strong knowledge of VMware & RHEV infrastructure and its components
• Good experience in RHEV performed adding  FCoE/ISCSI storage domain, ISO domain ( NFS), Live migration & Storage live migration.
• Candidates must be available locally in Qatar with transferable visa and ready to join immediately.
