GBM Qatar showcases secure, sustainable digital transformation solutions at Smart City Expo

GBM Qatar is participating in the Smart City Expo Doha 2022 as a Silver Sponsor showcasing secured smart cities digital solutions built on robust platforms to support Qatar’s digital transformation.

The two-day expo, which opened yesterday and organised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) with the support of its innovation arm, TASMU, aims to bring together the public and private sectors in Qatar to share ideas and solutions on how to create a better, more sustainable future for cities and their inhabitants.

At the expo, GBM is showcasing solutions for digital transformation, digital infrastructure, software and cyber security solutions and services supported by partnerships with worldwide technology innovators such as IBM. GBM is also showcasing its expertise in urban mobility, with Soubhi Chebib, GBM Qatar General Manager, being part of a panel titled ‘Envisioning a future of sustainable and connected mobility in cities’.

Chebib said: “The Smart City Expo Doha 2022 is one of the most prominent events for envisioning the future of Smart Cities. Under the theme ‘Sustaining a future of Resilience’, SCE Doha 2022 will provide a platform for experts to come together to engage, discuss solutions and ideas for digital readiness of cities to become environmentally sustainable cities offering a higher quality of life for all its residents”.
